Brief description
The main purpose of this position is to process requests received from authorized dealers in foreign currency with authorized dealers (ADs) and limited authority (ADLAs) in foreign currency, and to ensure compliance with exchange control regulations and rules. To take part in the inspection. Financial Intelligence Center Act 38 of 2001 (FIC Act) and other applicable legislation.

- Process applications for approval, providing work that meets the deadline and quality standards.
Assist with the inspection plan and provide a written report on the inspection results for approval.
Perform daily management including data analysis and report writing in support of operational performance within the division.
Engage in short-term planning, and work with team leaders to prioritize and execute tasks outlined.
Engage with relevant internal stakeholders, demonstrate the ability to convey information and explain it fluently.
Actively expand your knowledge of the functional area, and stay up to date with markets and legislative developments.
Identify problems and choose and / or modify routines to deal with them, demonstrating the ability to provide solutions to problems within a specific context
Review your performance against a given standard, and identify and focus on specific learning needs for the job.
Qualification Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Auditing, Compliance, Finance or Law, or equivalent NQF 7 qualification; And
At least six months to two years experience in Exchange Control, Banking, Anti Money Laundering (AML) or any other related regulatory environment.
