Position: Deputy Manager – Utilities
Requirements:
• Bachelors in Chemical Engineering
• 6 to 7 years of experience in Process Industry
Overall Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the overall department leading Indicator should be kept greater than the organizational target for the year
Conduct daily inspection of all work area ensuring work permit compliance and take immediate steps to correct unsafe or
unsatisfactory conditions, report to the manager those conditions that cannot be immediately corrected
Make sure HSE waiver is obtained for the usage of fire water other than fire suppression or flushing activity and properly communicated to the shift personnel as well
• Enforce PPEs requirements, to make spot checks that PPEs are being used and monitors health of all safety equipment and PPEs
• Ensure implementation and maintenance of Safety critical devices within shift
• Ensure that latest versions of all required operating
procedures, checklists and manuals are available in
respective control rooms and all previous versions are removed
Responsible for compliance of “Management of Change” and “Safe work practices” during his shift
