Google’s Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI)

The Computer Science Summer Institute (CSSI) is a Google Scholarship program.

Participants will begin the program with a three-week introduction to computer science for senior high school students who are passionate about technology.

Students will find deep, interactive, and fun that will motivate them to become future tech leaders and innovators.

CSSI participants will have first-hand experience learning from Google engineers,

The program is designed for women to further engage in technology by creating an online network for scholarship recipients.

This will enable them to share resources, continue to support the global women’s community, and collaborate with others to make an impact.

The program also provides an opportunity to connect with fellow scholars and Google sponsors while programming.

Requirements and Qualifications

North America

The selected scholar will receive a C 10,000 CAD prize for those studying in the United States and 5,000 CAD for students studying in Canada.

The scholarship is open to eligible students and highly encourages female applicants to apply for the scholarship program.

Applicants must have one.

Currently enrolled in a college or university by the time of application

Intends to enroll or accept a full-time bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD. College or university programs in the United States or Canada,
