Description
The Government of Castilla-La Mancha, through the Women’s Institute, has convened the ‘Leonor Serrano Pablo’ Scholarships for university studies for women victims of gender violence and their daughters and sons.
Women victims of gender violence and their children are in an unfavorable situation to carry out their studies and access the labor market. With these grants we try to break the barriers of discrimination and promote equality.
The Leonor Serrano Pablo Scholarships are aimed at women victims of gender violence and their children so that they can access to obtain a bachelor’s or master’s degree at any public university within the national territory.
To access these scholarships, applicants must be registered in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha and prove to be a victim of gender violence. The Leonor Serrano Pablo Scholarships offer financial aid that facilitates the tuition costs of their university studies.

Requirements
For the purposes of this resolution, women victims of gender violence and their daughters and sons who are enrolled in university studies aimed at obtaining an official bachelor’s or master’s degree in Public Universities throughout the national territory and that meet the requirements established in article 3 of Order 78/2019, of May 22, of the First Vice Presidency, which approves the regulatory bases of the Leonor Serrano Pablo study scholarships university students to women victims of gender violence and their daughters and sons.
The required requirements must be met at the time the application is submitted, the beneficiary being obliged to notify the Castilla-La Mancha Women’s Institute of any substantial variation in the requirements initially met to obtain the subsidy.
Documentation to attach
The following documentation must be attached to the application:
a. DNI or NIE, only in the case of not authorizing the Administration to obtain it.
b. Certification of the municipal register stating the residence and registration of the person concerned and the date of registration in it, only in the case of non-authorization to the Administration to obtain it.
c. Certification of the degree of disability, only in the case of non-authorization to the Administration to obtain it.
d. Proof of enrollment issued by the University Center.
and. Proof of cash payment, unless a scholarship had been requested to cover the tuition.
F. Documentation accrediting the status of victim of gender violence, by any of the following means:
1st. Sentence or judicial resolution that declares the existence of a situation of gender violence.
2nd. Report of the Public Prosecutor on the existence of indications of a situation of gender violence.
3rd. Protection order or resolution agreeing to the adoption of precautionary protection measures.
4th. Report of the Women’s Institute of Castilla-La Mancha.
g. Where appropriate, proof of the status of daughters or sons of a woman who is a victim of gender violence by any of the following means:
1st. Copy of the Family Book.
2nd. Birth certificate from the civil registry.

In stimulus scholarships, the amount to be paid to each beneficiary will be 1,000.00 euros per year, an amount that will be increased with 500.00 euros per year for beneficiaries affected by a disability equal to or greater than 33 percent and with 1,000. 00 euros per year for beneficiaries affected by a disability equal to or greater than 65 percent.
