Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq kakar is one of the great man and expected to become a great Leader of pakistan.Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar (Urdu: Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, Pashto: Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar) is a Pakistani politician currently serving as caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, succeeding Shahbaz Sharif. He previously served as the spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan from 2015 to 2017.

Anwar-ul-Haq from Pakistan started his political career in 2008, in 2013 he was elected on the ticket of PML-N. Kakar received his primary education from St. Francis School Quetta and later joined Cadet College Kohat. He obtained Masters degree in Political Science and Sociology from Balochistan University. He started his career by teaching in a school in his hometown.
Kakar was elected to the Senate of Pakistan as an independent candidate on the general seat from Balochistan in the 2018 Pakistani Senate election. He was sworn in as a senator on 12 March 2018.
He was also the Chairperson of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Committee and member of other committees including Business Advisory Committee, Finance and Revenue, Foreign Affairs, Science and Technology.
They jointly launched a new political party Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). He was nominated by the outgoing opposition leader and outgoing Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to be the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan. President Arif Alvi signed the summary making him the eighth Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan.
He took oath on 14 August 2023 on the 76th Independence Day of Pakistan.
He resigned from the Senate on August 14, 2023 and on the same day Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani accepted his resignation.

Anwar-ul-Haq belongs to the Kakar tribe of Pashtuns who are mainly scattered in northern Balochistan. Apart from political activism, Kakar is also associated with various think tanks that shape Pakistan’s foreign policy. Kakar has a keen eye for the geopolitics of South Asia, particularly Afghanistan-Pakistan relations. He is also on visiting faculty at Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defense University, Islamabad where Kakar lectures on international relations.
Kakar is fluent in Pashto, Urdu, Persian, English, Balochi and Brahvi.
