Pakistani Rupee registers nominal gain against US Dollar

At the close of trading, the value of the Pakistani Rupee on the interbank market had climbed by 17 paisas, indicating that it was still appreciating by 0.06% against the US Dollar.

The powerful US dollar lost an additional 17 paisas on the interbank market before closing trading at Rs281.72 on Wednesday.

The US dollar saw significant gains on the international market on Wednesday, closing in on a two-week high compared to other major currencies. This move was supported by a number of reasons, including rising US Treasury yields and a shift in Wall Street’s risk appetite toward caution.
