 Description

 Banco Santander creates the Santander Digital Business University Chicago Scholarships that aims to encourage the reorientation of professionals to digital business. People residing in Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, the United States, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Uruguay will be able to access these scholarships.

 The Santander Digital Business University Chicago Scholarships will allow registered and admitted people to have a free place in one of the training courses they offer, such as Creation and Management of Resilient Teams, Digital Marketing or FinTech. The duration of the courses will be 7 weeks and online. They will also be available in different languages: English, Portuguese or Spanish.

 These scholarships allow people who enroll to expand their knowledge in Digital Business and to expand their skills in their workplace.

 To access these scholarships, it will be necessary to be a resident of one of the aforementioned countries, register on the Banco Santander platform and complete the Alumni evaluation test.

 The requirements that participants will have to meet for admission are: Reside in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States or Uruguay.

 

 Complete the Global Alumni assessment test.  It is a series of questions designed to assess the competencies, skills and knowledge of the candidates.

 Endowment

 This Program will have THOUSAND (1,000) places available for those candidates who meet the conditions, requirements and competencies to participate.

 The Program offers scholarship students the possibility of taking one of the four courses that the University of Chicago Professional Education will teach (hereinafter “the Courses”), lasting seven (7) weeks.  The Courses will be available in English, Portuguese or Spanish.  The format will be online.

 The courses will begin on February 13, 2023 and will last approximately 7 weeks.

 Course content and objectives

 Creation and Management of Resilient Teams.

 Target Audience: Designed for professionals interested in developing a successful professional career in a changing environment, as well as for those seeking to improve their organizational and leadership skills based on team creation and management.

 Participants will learn how to organize high-performance teams to succeed in any situation and achieve goals even in extreme conditions.  Likewise, they will be able to identify the success factors in each stage and aspect of group performance.  After completing the course, students will know: o Know the main qualities of a resilient team and understand the main elements that constitute it.  o Distinguish the steps necessary to create, lead and manage teams in unstable conditions. o Apply strategies to effectively manage, motivate and solve conflicts that arise between team members who have different cultures, nationalities and skills or who work in different modalities (face-to-face, telematics or hybrid model).  o Define the indicators and guidelines to lead in the different phases in the development of a team: promoting members, expanding or breaking up a team.

 Learning objectives

 Understand the main qualities of a resilient team.

 Identify the necessary steps to create, lead and manage teams in unstable situations.

 Apply strategies to effectively manage, motivate and solve conflicts in teams where there is great diversity and/or different work modalities.

 Determine the indicators and guidelines in the development of a team (promote members, expand or break a team).

 Fintech.

 Recipients: Designed for financial analysts and professionals who want to delve into the fundamental principles of financial technology (fintech) and how it affects the sector.

 Participants will learn to be innovative, creative and disruptive in a constantly changing financial world.  After completing this course, students will know:

 Understand the digital transformation of the financial services industry.  o Understand how financial technologies work and their disruptive capacity. o Increase your employability in a rapidly expanding field.

 Include fintech innovations in the work environment.

 Learning objectives

 Understand the fundamental principles of financial technology and its application.

 Identify qualitative and quantitative approaches applied to finance. Explore how and why fintech can help clients on both a global and technical level.

 Examine the security measures required to ensure that fintech innovations keep customers and financial institutions safe

Digital marketing.

 Target Audience: Students, professionals, and leaders interested in an innovative course designed to analyze marketing adaptation to the latest digital trends. Participants will explore the interactions between brands and digital marketing and learn to use all forms of digital communication and technologies corresponding popups.

 This course goes beyond the traditional use of digital marketing to sell products and services to consumers, as it delves into the implications of digital marketing in business to business (B2B) relationships and how to stand out in a B2B market where these new modalities are replacing the traditional merchant.

 Participants will learn to analyze the different characteristics of digital marketing and how they apply to important technologies by analyzing relevant areas of growth.  Students who complete the course and obtain a grade equal to or greater than 69% will receive a degree issued by the University in which the equivalent teaching hours will appear.

 Admission and selection criteria

 The selection criteria for the allocation of places are:

 The answers in the Global Alumni skills and motivation test.

 Assignment of places

 The application period for this call for the Program will begin on October 20, 2022 and end on January 16, 2023. The allocation of places will be made between January 16, 2023 and February 7, 2023. These dates cannot be extended under any circumstances, except at the express request of the Working and Monitoring Group.  In order for these places to be assigned, the University of Chicago Professional Education must express its agreement with the student selection criteria.

 The allocation of places will be communicated to the beneficiaries on January 23, 2023. Students who have obtained a place will have 7 calendar days to accept it  Once the term has expired, In the event that there are assigned places that have not been accepted by the participants, the University of Chicago Professional Education will assign those places, following the same allocation criteria, to other participants who meet the necessary requirements or any other additional requirements that it may consider. the institution to fill all the vacancies.

 If the expected number of places is not reached and with the aim of benefiting the greatest number of students possible, the university may decide to apply other criteria to obtain a place in the program and may extend the deadline for your application. If the demand for places is greater than those offered, the University of Chicago Professional Education may evaluate other selection criteria that it deems appropriate.
